Beginning in 1950, Pete Boyle was a staple on Philadelphia television. He stayed on Channel 3 until 1963 when it was WPTZ and later WRCV-TV. He had a weekday show called Lunch with Uncle Pete at noon early on, sponsored by the Acme supermarket chain and later on Saturday mornings. We have a very short audio excerpt of Pete Boyle's Saturday morning show from 1955.
