The event took place at the City Avenue Hilton, 4200 City Avenue, Philadelphia. The date was Friday, November 22, 2013.
Our national anthem was sung by Broadcast Pioneers member Stephen Caldwell of the 60s rock group, the Orlons (The Wah-Watusi & South Street). Invocation by member Johnny B. Hall (of the rock group, the Starfires) and piano music for the evening by Dr. Bucky Clark, Principal of the Log Middle School. While Bucky is an educator, he is a member of Broadcast Pioneers. Why? Because he has been performing all his life including Uncle WIP, Paul Whiteman's TV Club and Captain Noah.
