Bob Jawer

Broadcast Pioneers member Bob Jawer once worked at WPTZ, Channel 3 in Philadelphia. He became friendly with TV Children's host Pete Boyle. Jawer asked Boyle who was also an artist to paint him a watercolor for his young son. This is the picture that Pete Boyle created.

Jawer was inducted into our "Hall of Fame" in 1995 and Pete Boyle in 2004. Bob Jawer spoke at our meeting on February 20, 2002 at Williamson's Restaurant in Bala Cynwyd and told everyone about this painting. Listen to what Bob Jawer said!
